If you missed these guys at Merrimack...I feel bad. Lanemeyer from New Jersey. There 7 song CD, Stories for the Big Screen is so worth the the
$7 or $8...I forget what I paid. Man I always find a band that sings songs realted to my love life, or lack there off...great now I sound like Jeff. Anyway, there are clips from
one of my favorite movies, Berrer Off Dead, throughout the whole CD. It's well worth checking out. Click here for Ordering Info
Oh yes, the momment you've all been waiting for....well keep waiting because it's not out just yet. The new Carpet Patrol full length
is gonna be a dandy. 20 power packed tracks! You'll recognize 4 hits off the first Carpet Patrol demo CD. There's a new version of Scrabble, Me
and Me II e, My Mailman and of Course Tranform and Rollout. You'll also hear the songs you've learned to love over the past few months that they've been playing
live such as Like Will, Final Fantasy, Ska Song, and Working Class Punk Rocker Girl (WCPRG). And they didn't leave out the fan favorite Arthur! I can't help but
laugh my way through some of the songs though, when you get your copy you will too. They open the door to many new types of sound. This CD is gonna be a hit, it already
is in my book. Look for it around christmas time...
The new 5 BUCKS! CD is a hit in my book. 5 BUCKS! is hip-hop-pop-punk band out of Manchester, NH.
My favorite song on Summer of '84 is Mr. T Sprinkler. The two songs that were on their demo, Don't Wannabe and Mike Seaver
are also on this wonderfully produced DIY cd. And at only $5.00 (+$2.00 s+h) it's well worth it. This disc is also available
at select Newbury Comics. Many of the Newbury Comics have already sold out and have ordered some more!

Well if you missed it the first time around, I suggest you don't miss it again. The first CD Compilation put out by Fat-Wreckords, Fat Music
for Fat People. 14 Powerpacked songs from bands like Lagwagon, NUFAN, NOFX, and Good Riddance. I think it runs for around $3-4 so go break the
bank for this one.
Ok, now for a band that most of you probably haven't heard of. They played the Elvis Room back on July 27th and I was lucky enough to see them.
The Young Hasselhoffs, out of Nebraska (I think). These guys were so good. They reminded me alot of Screeching Weasel. Very down to earth group of guys (3). They
were very appreciative of the crowd and I bought their CD at the show. I highly recomend you go buy it from the Melted Record Site.

Well, Now for a local favorite. The Ducky Boys 2nd CD Release, 'Dark Days' is deep rooted and power packed. Many songs make you think about the past. You recolect on the
good times you had but it also makes you think about maybe that close friend or relative you list along the way. This is such a good album it is a must for every collection. Opening
with an old turntable scractching out 'boston you're my home' . You'll recognize alot of the songs if you see the Ducks live because they play a good 5-6 songs of this album each show. My
personal favorites, especially live are 'I'll Rise Up' and 'Misfit'. Like I said, this disc is a must, go order it from the Ducky Boys website:

Now for a change of pace off of the punk stuff. I'll review and post ordering info on basically anything that anyone sends me. I like most types of music so I keep an open mind when I receive
stuff that stray from punk, ska or hardcore.
I was greeted today by a press kit from Honey And The Bees. Honey and the Bees is a hip-Pop fivesome out of Boston. Right away this album struck me as different. Obviously a real change
of pace for someone like myself. It seemed to really calm me down though. It's the type of music that just get right inside your head. Blending all types of instruments together. Theres all types of strings,
even a violin, horns and some major keys. This is something I could put on, shut my eyes lay in a nice dark room and just daydream myself away. After the night I have had tonight, this was a well welcomed change of pace.
If you need a change of pace I suggest you check out, Honey And The Bees. Goto there website at: http://www.honeyandthebees.com/. Or if you wanna take my word on this one you can find the
