News By Tony
Ok...some news was lost...I over wrote stuff I had already saved.
10/25
I made a BIG purchase today. I bought a video capture card that will let me add videos with sound to the website. This will be one
of the features of 'T+P Productions'. T+P Productions..what's that you ask. T+P Productions is service in it's developmental stages that
will provide a homepage service to local bands (free) and it will also contain info on a series of T+P Presents shows that wil be making there
debuts early in 1999.
10/28
Traffic Report. T+P Averages about 300 pages views a day. The counter doesnt count everytime someone changes pages, but it does count
everytime a banner ad loads so I can tell.
10/24
T+P Production has partnered up with BURST! Media. BURST! Media is going to sell ads on the T+P site. So when you
see an ad, click on it check it out. Some of the stuff is pretty cool.
10/20
The Chat is up and running. You can find a link on the front page. I am going to be adding a chat schedule so we can talk about stuff.

Happy Birthday Tony

Rumors circulating of a possible show out my way here in Burlington/Woburn. There's no date set, no venue set, no bands set. So much
for that being a late breaking news story, obviuosly i'll keep you posted.

In case you care about my car stereo...I have a major suspect. Like I said, it had to be someone that knew I was away and knew that
I had a nice stereo in my car. Well, this person was in my car within the recent past. They must have figured out through a friend of
mine that I was away and the rest is history. I guess you can't trust anyone these days. I learned it the hard way, and the person who took it
is gonna learn the hard way to because he/she told one to many people and rumors are staring to spread...
9/3
The Trouble didn't play the Elvis Room show tonight so looks like that might be all we hear out of them for a while. At least until
they find a new singer. There CD is due out in less than a month.
9/2
Rumor has it that Gibby is going to be moving to LA leaving the Trouble. The trouble don't want to split up so they're gonna
be looking for a new singer. I don't know if this is going to affect the Elvis Room show tomorrow. If the Trouble plays it may be one of
their last shows with Gibby so you better not miss it.
8/31
Well it's news to me but you people might not care. Someone broke into my car and stole my freeking stereo. I'm still ripping
about this so give it back you fucking fuck.
8/27
Carpet Patrol spent 2 days recording this past week and from what I heard all seemed to go well. No official word on when
the new CD will be out, but I hear it's gonna have 20 fun filled tracks. Hopefully it will be out before there is snow on the ground.
8/24
Sad news, the Westies are calling it quits. Brendan has come down with a torn throat and has
to hang it up for his own safety. They will be playing one last show on Aug. 29th at the Ol' Store
in Palmer, MA. Sad but true.

I read at the Bostonpunk site that the Church in Boston (our last hope for all ages shows
in Boston) was really close to shutting it's doors to the Boston Punk Scene. This is due to
the fact that people can't respect other peoples property and obey rules. How hard is it for some
of you to go to a show when you're not shitfaced. What makes you bring the booze? Why do you
trash the bathrooms? If you want to keep driving to Worcester and Portsmouth more power to you, but this
BS is killing the Boston Scene. The Church is at it's last straw now, the Bristles show on the 22nd will go on with
some new rules. No re-addmittance, and no hanging around the local residential area. That's where the complaints are
coming from. So you're either in for the show, or 'on your way home'. And as always, leave the booze at home. Don't wreck
it for everyone else.

For those of you who missed it on the first time around....which was alot of us, Fat Music For Fat People, Fat Music
Volume One was re-release on 8/11. It's one of those Fat-Wreckord comps that is such a good deal. 14 Songs for $3.99. Bands
Like, NOFX, Rancid, Lagwagon, NUFAN and many more that are worth the dough.

The Dropkick Murphy's Return to Massachusetts for their first 'up close and personal show'.
They played the Juice Bar in Orleans, MA (Cape Cod). We, Aaron, Chad, Amy, Liz and I, made the
trek to the cape. Read about it in the Reviews Section
I heard the new Troulbe CD tonight. It's gonna be a dandy. Sam from the Trouble was at the show tonight
and I asked him 'when's your new cd coming out' and he said withing a month or so. I then asked him, well then
what playing now (they were playing it between sets), and he said 'this is it'. So in other words it's really close.

The Warped Tour was a huge success with the major highlight (imo) being
the Dropkick Murphy's. I
don't know how fans reacted to them at the other dates they played but
it couldnt have been anything like
this one. Hearing everyone singing the start of 'Barroom Hero' was
great. I originally heard that they
were only playing the local stage but the were moved to one of the main
stages. Good thing because I think they
had the largest turnout.

I took tons of pictures of Carpet Patrol yesterday in Portsmouth, NH.
We took them in trees, on the phone and
in other random places. Look for these pictures to be a part of their
new full length, if you want a sneak peak
at them you can find them here

T+P Has officially moved most of its pages onto TIAC
7/16
Ok, It's official, DKM are playing the warped tour on the same stage as KITH and other local talents.
7/11
People keep emailing me and telling me that the Dropkick Murphy's are playing the North Hampton date on the Warped tour. Can someone email
me with the official word and some proof backing it up. As far as I can see they stop touring in Buffalo. They may be playing one of the local
stages but I don't know, someone tell me and post it on the bulletin board.

Got my mail today and was delighted to see a package from the band 5 Bucks. They're a cool punk band out of Manchester, NH. They
sent me a couple of copies of their 2 song demo tape. I'll be sure to hand out the extras to my 'pals'. Anyways, the tape may only
be 2 songs, but it it also only costs you a measily 2 Bucks. If you want to by this highly recomended demo, visit the 5 Bucks Website for the address.

The rumors are true, no more all ages shows at the Middle East :-( Due to the fact that a girl was seriously hurt and had
to be taken out on a stretcher at the last Ducky Boys show there
The Ducky Boys just announced they'll be playing some local shows. Check out the Show List for more info
